The History of Ted Britt Automotive

Ted Britt Ford opened its doors in Fairfax in March 1959. It was through the efforts of the founder "Texas" Ted Britt, that the dealership was started, and it is with great pride that our family continues to operate the store very successfully for over 50 years. In 1986, the dealership moved to its present location at 11165 Main Street in Fairfax. Ted Britt Ford Lincoln of Chantilly, opened in January 2003 in the Dulles Auto Park and acquired the Lincoln franchise in August 2010. With state of the art technology, a customer-friendly facility, and a service-driven staff, this dealership promises to continue our legacy of outstanding service and value. Ted Britt Chevrolet opened in September 2012 in Sterling VA and our newest facility, Harley-Davidson of Quantico, became part of the Ted Britt family in November 2013. Since then, two additional Harley-Davidson stores have opened in Orange, VA and Fredericksburg, VA and have quickly become the premier place to purchase a Harley-Davidson.

Through the same honest hard work and dedication to customer service "Texas" Ted started with in 1959, Gardner Britt jr. has continued to grow Ted Britt Automotive Group which employees nearly 1,000 hard-working men and women.
